Monte Verde Lake Plein air study of the lake near Angel Fire, New Mexico. The rough texture is from the Richeson pastel board which is nice for landscapes. This is a popular fishing hole and the artists and fishermen had to leave when a lightening storm blew through. The water was wonderfully calm when the painting was started and moving quite a bit when leaving the area. Pastel on Richeson pastel board. 9 x 12 inches. $140.00, free shipping.
