Pears in Bloom

Prickly pear cactus has beautiful blooms. The fruit is very good to eat. Many make jelly. In South America, the fruit is quite large and eaten like kiwi fruit. Jo used to eat them when riding horseback and working cattle. Great when you are thirsty.
