Austin Pastel SocietyAnnual Juried Member Show, Corridor of Art, Austin, Texas, March 6 - May 2, 2011. Her painting, Summer Aspens, was on exhibit there. Austin Pastel Society Member Show Northwest Hills Gallery, November 2 - 29, 2010Jo's two paintings along with about fifty others from the societywere on display. See below for awards. Seventh Annual Exhibit in Magdalena, New Mexico, at Peppers Art Gallery in July, 2010. Jo painted with a demonstration on Friday, July 9, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., had a public reception on Saturday, July 10, 12 noon to 4:00 p.m., and was there on Sunday, July 11, 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.. The Old Timers event has every year, a rodeo with cowboys over 50 years old, a parade, exhibits, food including a pancake breakfast and barbeque and much more. - The Old Timers Reunion was the setting for Jo Castillo's Sixth Annual Artist Reception at Peppers Art Gallery, 100 E 1st., Magdalena, New Mexico, 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2009. Solo show, 21 pieces of art.
